Turbo PTFE Stir Bar, Octahedral

The polygonal shape provides increased turbulence. The added pivot ring enables the stir bar to adopt the optimum position for a smoother stirring action with reduced friction. Can be used in vessels with curved or uneven base.

Turbo stir bars use stronger Rare Earth magnets and are identified by an inert carbon black spot.

• Virgin grade PTFE conforming to FDA and USP Class VI.
• Rare Earth (Samarium-Cobalt) magnetic core.
• Chemical Resistance is virtually total.
• Temperature Range, -200°C to 260°C (-328°F to 500°F).
• Shelf life is considered indefinite within the confines of normal use and storage conditions.
• Autoclavable.
